AUTOART DELIVERS GERMAN FIRE & ICE PLUS SHELBY 2007

Here's your chance to add Mercedes "stroke 8" crisp elegance to your collection! AUTOart has sent us a choice of two 220D Limousines and any day now we expect the 280C coupe! Timeless and classic beauty.

From same era, also German, but surrounded by spoilers: AUTOart's splendid '73 BMW 3.0 CSL. This is the first of five straight Spa Winners for BMW.

Add to your open wheel collection with a masterful '72 McLaren M16B Indy contender, this one piloted by Gary Bettenhausen. Carousel 1 is the master.

Rated at 500 horses, the 2007 Shelby GT500 is the most powerful factory-produced Ford Mustang ever. It's a jaw-dropper, bulging in 1:18 detail.

Let us send you Mattel's super duper Ferrari Superamerica, the convertible Berlinetta version of the 575M Maranello. It's the Ferrari you read about with the electrochromic glass panel roof which rotates 180° at the rear to lay flat over the boot. You won't see many being driven around your town, I'm guessing.

DIECAST ZONE ANNOUNCES ITS DIECAST HALL OF FAME!

The Diecast Zone announces the creation of the Diecast Scale Model Hall of Fame. Our aim is to honor those who have made exceptional and pioneering contributions to the development and popularity of scale model cars and related subjects. To visit, CLICK HERE.

In this first year, we are inducting four members. We wanted to be sure to establish the level of achievement we had in mind in creating this hall of fame. Each of these first four took the scale model hobby and associated industry in important new directions. In future years, at most 2 can enter.

Qualified nominees may include entrepreneurs, designers, inventors, publishers and collectors. Election will be made by 10 individuals invited each year representative of these same groups.

Nominations are encouraged from anyone and should be posted throughout the year on one of the Diecast Zone forums.
